GM 151, AMC 150, AMC 232 , AMC 258, AMC 304, AMC 360

The CJ-7 was offered with a range of 5 engines from the 150ci upto the 304ci. From 1976 to 1978 the AMC 232 was the stock engine and the AMC 258 and AMC 304 were optional. In 1979 the AMC 232 was dropped out and the AMC 258 came as the stock engine, the AMC 304 was still the optional engine. From 1980 to 1983 the GM 151 became the stock engine and the AMC 258 and AMC 304 were optional. The AMC 304 was only as optional deliverd till 1981. For the last 3 years (1984-86) was the AMC 150 the stock engine and the AMC 258 was optional.
The AMC 360 wasn't a stock engine, but is a popular swap in a Jeep CJ-7.
