Here we are, at the beginning of our great
adventure. Stripping (and later rebuilding) the Jeep!
I've learned when it's your first time, you
have to be carefull, because you never will forget your first time ...
I mean that you have to take some pictures
(when it's possible!), you sure have to mark all the things you're getting
off and last but not least ... try to remember where it comes from!
Do it all by yourself because otherwise
you have to buy a new windshield! (inside-joke). Verry funny!
We started with the interior (seats, roll-bar,
seat-belts, diamond-plates, consol, ...), then it was time to clean up
the body (removing all the pieces and wiring from the body). Finally, we
toke the body from the frame and than we removed the drive-train
(driveshafts, transmission, transfer case, ...) and engine.
The only thing left now was removing the
suspension and axles.
So ... now it's time to clean up and prepair
all the pieces to put them back together!!!
Let's hope he will hit the (off-)road again
...
