Finally, the Jeep was stripped. Now we can
build him up again:
The first step was inspecting the frame.
It looked like it was in a good shape.
Indeed, 90% of the frame still had the original
paint, but behind all the brackets was some surface rust. Nothing really
to worry about.
The only PITA-job (pain in the ace-job) was
removing the sway bar brackets. The bolts were very bad rusted and didn't
had the intension to come out.
So, time to use the BIG things and getting
help of the grinder.
Now it's time for sanding ... |
